Mataranka Station

Mataranka Station Pastoral Lease was acquired by the Northern Territory Government in 1982 and subsequently granted to the NT Land Corporation in 1983 as a Crown Lease in Perpetuity. Since then the area has been utilised by the former Katherine Rural College then Charles Darwin University, as a training facility in the agricultural sector until it was relinquished around 2016. Mataranka Station is now subleased for pastoral purposes.
